Overview

hsHUD ships two complete HUD generations that players can switch between instantly from the in-game settings menu. Every element is drag-and-droppable, every color is live-editable, and the entire accent palette updates automatically based on vehicle speed — no server restarts, no edits required.

Features

Two Full HUD Generations

V1 Classic

Clean, minimal chip-based layout with 7 status bar styles: Chip, Circle, Horizontal Bar, Diamond, Minimal, Segmented, and Compact. Four speedometer layouts. Familiar and performant.

V2 Modern

Dark-glass aesthetic throughout. 16 status indicator variants combining four fill effects (Wave, Solid, Glow, Line) with three shapes (Square, Round, Hex), plus Circle, Percent, Fill, and Bars presets. Dedicated speedometer, location pill, finance panel, and notification cards all styled to match.

 Dynamic Accent Color System

The accent color flows through every V2 element simultaneously — speedometer arcs, location pill, status area, finance cards, and toolbar all update together.

• Dynamic — shifts green → blue → yellow → red as vehicle speed increases

• Green · Blue · Yellow · Red — fixed color presets

• Custom — full color picker, any hex value

In-Game Settings Menu

A full settings panel accessible via a configurable keybind. No config file editing needed.

- Switch between V1 and V2 live

- Choose accent color or pick a custom hex with a live color picker

- Toggle status icon background between Dark and Glass

- Select status shape and fill effect independently

- Change individual stat icons per category (health, armor, hunger, thirst, oxygen, stress)

- Customise every stat color with a live color picker

- Drag-and-drop layout editor — position every HUD element anywhere on screen

- Quick-snap position presets (Left / Center / Right)

- Cinematic mode — hides HUD and adds cinematic black bars

Location Pill (V2)

Dark-glass pill showing current street, cross-street, and compass heading. Accent color updates in real time to match the active speed theme.

Stress System

- Configurable per-job stress accumulation (police toggle)

- Shooting and high-speed driving contribute to stress

- Screen blur effects scale with stress level

- Full ragdoll effect at maximum stress

Additional Systems

• Fuel Warning — themed notification when fuel drops below a configurable threshold

• Square Minimap — removes the default circular crop with an optional custom-colored border

• Voice Indicator — shows proximity level and active/radio/idle state with custom colors

• Finance Cards — bank balance and cash displayed with live accent theming (V2)

• Nitrous Bar — native integration, works with any nitrous resource via export

Exports & API

Full export API for both client and server resources. Trigger themed notifications that automatically match the player's active HUD version, control HUD visibility per-player, manage stress, and integrate nitrous — all through a single consistent export name regardless of which HUD version the player has selected.
